Emily Light
Are you looking for a confidential and non-judgemental space to vent or problem-solve? I believe everyone has resilience and autonomy, and sometimes all it takes is a safe environment to bring those strengths to light. My approach combines client-centred empathy with effective cognitive techniques from CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Outside of my work, I enjoy playing and listening to music, working on art projects, reading, and writing—activities that inspire my approach and enrich my connection with clients.
I’m a bilingual psychotherapist working with teens and adults (12+), experienced in addressing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD and more. No matter what you are going through, you don't have to do it alone.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or for a free 15-minute consultation. Taking the first step can be challenging, but I’ll be here to support you.
