THERAPY SUPPORT ANIMAL
We provide a warm space for clients that want to work on concerns including:
-
If you ever feel like you cannot concentrate for long periods of time, or describe yourself as “scattered brain” you are not alone! I help clients with ADHD manage symptoms through therapy including time management, and how to stay focused so you can get your daily tasks done without symptoms of distractibility.
-
We want you to get your life back and help you go throughout your day without your past dictating your future. In therapy you will learn how past experiences are impacting your current behaviours, and how giving your “past self” what they need will heal your “current self”.
-
One of the hardest things to go through is having an eating disorder. Food is a part of our lives every. single. day. Through therapy you will learn the cycle of eating disorders, the stages of change, and reach ultimate food freedom.
-
Intrusive thoughts can feel like you have no control over your brain. This is why they are called intrusive because these thoughts are unwanted and cause distress. Together, we will learn about compulsions and the different types, the compulsion cycle, and how to stop the OCD cycle from occurring.
-
Anxiety can feel overwhelming, often showing up as constant worry or physical tension. Together, we’ll explore the roots of your anxiety, helping you find calm and relief. With compassion and practical tools, we’re here to support you in moving toward a life where worry no longer holds you back.
-
If you are feeling chronic stress, anxiety and dreading Mondays over the weekend then therapy with a focus on burnout is for you! We will collaborate to identify work/life balance and techniques to help with burnout prevention.
-
Chronic illnesses can have detrimental effects to your mental health. It is an illness that will always be a part of your life and this can feel existential. In therapy we will discuss potential negative experiences with the medical field, being diagnosed with the illness or pain, as well as working on pain management.
